Philosophy

My Story
My interest in human nutrition began not only in the kitchen, but also in the classroom. While I excelled at chemistry and biology, I enjoyed cooking and exploring the effects of food on the human body. I became more aware of my health as a student athlete and began to focus on fuelling myself instead of filling myself. Naturally, my passions for health and science intersected and led me to pursue my Bachelor of Science Honours in Biomedical Science with a minor in Nutrition and Nutraceutical Science at the University of Guelph, followed by a Master of Human Nutrition at McGill University. I also completed a Master of Human Nutrition (Applied) in Dietetic Credentialing at McGill to become a registered dietitian licensed with the College of Dietitians of Ontario. I am passionate about my work at both The Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids) as a research dietitian, and as a private practice dietitian!
